THE BLACK COUNTRY MEMORIES CLUB
ABOUT THE CLUB
Club is open to anyone who lives or works, or
did live or work,
in the Black Country boroughs of Wolverhampton,
Dudley, Sandwell and Walsall.
The Club meets four times a year, in Bilston, unless otherwise stated all meetings are at Bilston Town Hall
At the meetings we often have one or two speakers, who talk about something to do with the Black Country and its past.
also put on displays of old documents and photographs. We like people to bring along not just their memories but
any old photos,
documents or objects; and to join in the general chat. Our meetings are very informal.
And we can copy your photos and documents and
your memories- we can even record you on
video if you like,
and we can publish them on this web site too.
Our meetings are usually mentioned in the local papers and we send out letters to members who have given us their names and addresses. Details of forthcoming events will also appear here.
